Measuring Truck Mud Tire

First, you need to measure the overall width of the truck mud tire. Take note that the overall width includes the distance between one outside portion of the sidewall to the opposing side. The measurement will also include any present decorations on the side of the mud tire, like with the manufacturer’s logo. To make your work easier, the tire should be rightly inflated and mounted.
Second, measure the section of the truck mud tire. It is the overall widths of the mud tire minus any decoration included on it then just proceed with the tread width measurement afterwards. The tread width encompasses the distance from the inner edge to the outer edge of the tire tread.
Third, get the overall diameter of the truck mud tire. The overall diameter will include the distance between the upper parts of the tread on one side of the mud tire to the top of the opposite side. Then, measure also the section height of the tire which is a vertical distance from the top portion of the tread to the bead seat. To get accurate measures, the tire must be mounted in the wheel and there should be no load.
Lastly, get the right measurement of the rim diameter. The rim diameter refers to the distance covered between bead seats and it is frequently measured in inches rather than millimetres.
