Among the hottest toys being sold these days are Battle Strikers. Thanks to their magnetic technology, they have reached a whole new level in spinning tops. These toys are a new twist on a very old idea and are really catching on with kids everywhere as their popularity grows. Each top has its own unique characteristics that make it react a certain way during battle. They all have their own names and there are many different styles to choose from. To start a battle, the Battle Striker is fixed to the launcher. The Striker is held in place by a magnetic field. The finger tip controller resembles a glove and is used to guide the striker with a magnetic field. Just as styles change every season with the clothes we wear, fashion trends in window curtains also change. Although curtain trends don’t change every season, as with clothes, there has been a considerable difference over the past few decades. Curtain rods have grown more extravagant now that the curtains themselves are simpler. Without extra frills, like valances, the rods will be more noticeable and you may want something eye catching. While truly ornate curtain rods can be expensive, you can either use the money you saved while buying simpler curtains, or even make your own. Painting and adding some frills yourself to a simple dowel or broom handle can be a pleasant and eye catching addition to your window curtains.

Spring cleaning will be a less arduous chore with simpler curtains. The main reason being that you won’t have to clean layer upon layer of dusty fabric and accessories that you would have to take down and then put back up. Just clean them according to the fabric care instructions and then re-hang them and they will be as good as new. Even if you have mini-blinds along with the curtains, you can take them down and wash them with relative ease.
